THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Public Health Program Associate 1, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the contracted call center and assist with escalations, develop performance improvement measures, and review vendor standard operating procedures for quality. You will also gather, analyze, measure, and interpret medical marijuana patient and provider data to identify gaps in service provision and recommend solutions to those gaps. This position provides you with an opportunity to identify potential methods to increase the eligible population’s access to the Medical Marijuana Assistance Program (MMAP). In addition, you will develop data collection methods and establish a consistent schedule for creating and updating program data related reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment (37.50-hour work week)
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in health, social or behavioral sciences, statistics, or a related field; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
