The Quality Technician, Senior is responsible for supporting the manufacturing function with pre-production and in-process quality check activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and passed on to subsequent operations. This position will provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Uses judgement and initiative while conducting inspections on product according to Zebra’s well-defined quality processes
- Works methodically, yet rapidly to provide near-real-time in-process test results for a fast-paced and high-value manufacturing process
- Conducts nonconforming material investigations and reports to Zebra Engineers and Quality personnel
- May collaborate with management to drive continuous improvements and implement corrective actions
- May assist with the internal product quality reviews with cross-functional teams
- Supports new product quality plan implementations
- Demonstrates the ability to understand specific technical requirements, delivering output following broad framework
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior working experience in manufacturing environment(preferred Print/Label Industry)
- Working knowledge of Zebra products
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Basic level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management)
- Intermediate communication skills (listening, providing clear and concise information, using proper language and grammar)
- Self-directed with ability to be efficient with minimal supervision
- Intermediate problem-solving skills

Salary: USD 54100.00 – USD 81100.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
