The Vertical Service Technician will have the responsibility of maintaining elevators and/or escalators in a defined territory. Responsible for trouble shooting, inspecting, repairing, and documenting issues on elevators and escalators in a timely and professional manner.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Understanding of electrical circuits and the ability to read schematics.
- Proper use of electrical measuring devices.
- Self-Motivated to both work and self-improvement.
- Must be able to gain and/or maintain (in assigned territories) state licensing or enrolled in the CET certification program within 6 months.
- Must be familiar with the use of computers and a knowledge of systems for daily use (Word, Excel, Email, etc.).
- Knowledge of Service Channel facility maintenance software (or similar companies).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate with local management and staff.
